Under the SICT Program, the following tasks will be undertaken:
- Central database for storing and updating data on telephone numbers handled by the Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Telephone Exchange
- Telephone subscribers’ record-keeping software with user-friendly interface for queries, sorting and searching
- Online access to telephone registration information
- Software application for automating the record-keeping process for new telephone line applications
- Online access to recent status of application for new telephone lines, including registration number and corresponding demand note number and advice number
- Necessary hardware resources will be provided
- LAN will be established at the GM North’s Office
